Xinema news 2010

July/August
We wish you a happy summer holiday...some weeks off will for sure be great.
Hopefully Mikael will still have time to work a little with the vocals ; )

May/June
No, the album is not finished yet ; )...but we do have a treat for you
while waiting. On our index page (before you got here) is a row just
under our Xinema logo containing links to myspace, youtube, face...and so on.
On the right end there´s a tiny little flash player...click on "play" and you´ll
hear a nice little pop song from the coming album. Yet to suffer the
final mix though but we think it sounds decent enough to show all of
you out there that we´re alive and well : ) Play it loud and ENJOY!!!

It makes us happy to see that the number of people on our
facebook fanpage/likeXinemapage, is actually quite close to 400...
not bad! We´re not the most communicative band in the world but
it doesn´t mean we appreciate you guys less...probably the opposite.
At the moment the work to finish the album is quite slow for different
reasons but it will be out later this year. We prefer to make sure it´s
a great album rather than to try to release it as fast as possible.

March/April
So, within a week we actually increased the number of fans
with almost 300!!! on our facebook fanpage.
Just wanted to tell all you people...we really appreciate it...amazing!
Also a BIG thanks to Claire for maintaining the site.

Just saw we increased the number of fans on the Xinema facebook page...
and goes on growing (126 fans at 19:40 on 10/03/31), kinda cool!
we´re amazed and positively surprised and we thank all of you out there
for supporting a small band from Sweden...Thanks guys (and girls ; ))!!!!.

We have a new guestbook up and running...don´t know how good it is since
it´s a free one. If it turns out that we get a lot of crap (spam & stuff) in it
we´ll just take it away.

Sorry to tell you that our free guestbook from the french I-Services recently
stopped working. Heres a part of I-Services message:
"Our english website will close on May 27th, 2010. Indeed, our english services
didn't meet the success level expected".
So, all comments just disappeared and we´re sorry about that. We´ll have another
guestbook up and running in short and we hope some of you find your way to
that one as well.

Well, as usual everybody knows what we´re doing and we will
for sure finish the album this year...hopefully this summer but who knows...; )
Since Xinema is a small band with small (actually none whatsoever) resources,
the members have regular jobs, families & in general an equal boring life as
everybody else out there...just as busy as well. We simply don´t have the time
to update lastfm, myspace, youtube, reverbnation, facebook etc all the time.
We apologize for not being able to communicate better/more but it´s the way it is.
At least we´re gonna make a really exciting album for you out there.

January/February
Hi again! 2010 and Mikael have had problems with his throat for quite
some time but now he´s finally well again...which means we can start working
with the last parts for the album again. It´s extremely cold in our part of
the country...it´s been below -30 and that´s not fun...

The french webzine Progressive Area posted a very nice review for
Basic communication...read it here.
